    Oh boy, ANOTHER special high-po Murcielago. What next, a special edition Mustang or Skyline?


    For chrissake, the LP640 was supposed to be the glorious sendoff to the Murc before making way for the next gen Lambo-- and they just keep remaking the Murcielago.


    Put some FUCKING TURBOS on the thing, get your 800-900HP and be done with it for maybe $135,000. Oh no, it didn't come from the factory like that, oh teh noes-- If you need the extra tenth of a second the car does not need to be stock.

    I just-- don't see the advantage over a modified Murcielago.

    ugh.

    The Diablo GT-R was cooler. Batshit crazy, tons of power, ridiculous rear wing, rear wheel drive and only too eager to kill you.

    @Jo Schmo: Believe it or not, I think there actually is. A few years back, Lambo was doing clinics in some of the snowy northern states, demonstrating that with the AWD and a good set of winters, it really could be a year-round supercar, and I could swear I recall laughing my head off at the sight of a Lambo with rally-style fog lights and a ski-rack.


    They were Gallardos, though, so maybe the Murci-Me doesn't get them.

    Actually, the "SV" stands for "Special Value". Following in the footsteps of an earlier successful VW promotion, the Lambo comes with an auxiliary jack on the dash, as well as a colour-matched iPod and electric guitar, both of which can be plugged into the dash and played through the car's speakers.


    And for only a $50,000 premium, the guitar and iPod are FREE!

    Because the current Murcielago wasn't batshit mad enough, we're talking maybe somewhere in the vicinity of $400k for an extra 2 mph, a few tenths cut off the 0-60 time, and longer, more obnoxious name badge?
