    @Mobius: Sorry, friend, they are not available in the USA, Canada or Mexico. BUT! They are available in Brazil....I have a contact there...he'll help. There might be some still around there.

    This is a KTM X-Bow vs. a KTM Supermoto on a wet surface. The X-Bow spun out quicker than you can say pate.

    Price, price, price and price. Too expensive!. This is produced in Austria one of the highest wage economies in Europe, let alone the World. If you specify carbon fiber, rather than glass fiber for the outer panels it adds another £10k to what you pay. They should have developed it in Europe, and produced it in the far east, pricing it accordingly.

    I'm with you on this. This is another answer to a question no consumer segment was asking.

    While I love minimalist cars, I think we need more $30,000 Toniqs (I think that's what Randy told me they would be priced at) and less of this.

    Now this is a genuine tragedy. I love these cars -- and not just because of the Audi engines. These were potentially proof that the lightweight sports car could still exist in today's world. Hopefully this cancellation isn't proof that it can't.

    @Deartháir II: The Return: Well, those run-of-the-mill cars are bland enough to not draw your attention to the ugly.

    The xbow begs to be looked at, particularly since the go-to image of it is one on a guard rail.

    Why could KTM and Ariel pull of pretty and light like Caterham?

    I just can't understand putting your money into something that looks like an over-sized rental go-kart. The Atom looks more like a real go-kart, a Se7en looks like a real car. This just looks goofy, like I should be paying 20 bucks to get 10 minutes at Jim-Bob's Fun Palace Mini-Golf and Karting.

    I'm sorry, what did you say? All I heard was "X-BOW blah blah blah 300 hp 295 lb ft blah blah blah..." then I went and looked up the weight. 790 kg (1741 lb for us archaists).

    Impressive.

    I would still rather have the Arial Atom 500 V8. 500 hp in a 500 kilo package.

    I really love the X-Bow until I see the price. I guess if you're dropping 130k another 9k for 60 hp is nothing.
