    I actually think that it is a fairly sharp looking car. The name is stupid, and the commercial ranks pretty high on the "worst car commercials ever" list.

    At least I might remember what the car is, though. Anyone seen the "other" ranch dressing ad that only reminds you to run out and buy some Hidden Valley?

    For what it's worth, my girlfriend's mom has an '03 Magentis (Optima in the US) with about 75k on it, she's only had to do a brake job and replace the gas cap a couple months ago. Likewise, my parents have an '03 Accent that's had no problems except for a failed radio (which just got replaced with a $100 aftermarket unit with an aux in, so it worked out). I don't think the Koreans are making the heaps they used to. On the other hand, I like the Forte because it's attractive, efficient, and not too gutless, and hopefully it drives reasonably well (the Soul I drove was decent).

    It takes 2 people to copy the Civic, slap a KIA badge on and call it a day.

    It takes 2 people to come up with the idea of using a K instead of a C to connect with today's hip and urban kids.

    It takes 2 people to create a shitty commercial for a shitty car.
