Jeez,I don't go on Jalopnik for two days, and they do an article on my little country on the edge of the world -and then everyone comes in and says nice things about it.Thanks for the great comments Jalopers,I'm bursting with pride.
My first thought was, jeez, it's going to get stuffy and sweaty in that little hamster cage and my second was, where are the loops? Couldn't you be like Sonic the Hedgehog and do a vertical 360? That would separate the Kiwis from the Ki-won'ts.
another proud day to be a kiwi jaloper.
take one small country at the edge of the world.
throw in a lot open space,
mix with one of the fittest populations in the world (health not looks that is)
add a large dalop of boredom,
and no way to sue people
leave for just 180 years and there you have it, a country that gives the world the first man to split the atom, burt munro, bruce mclaren, denni hulme, chris amon, possum bourne, scott dixon and the choncords, what more could you want?!!?

I am a little disappointed that you could not lap the other rider.
In fact, a possible improvement could be a large button on the back of each pod connected to a quick release. If you are slow enough to be lapped, when the other rider comes up from behind their pod would hit your button and launch you from the rail.
Crikey!
It's like an amusement park for grown-ups, just less porn!
I would love to try everything there with the exception of that boat. I've never seen anything on the water cut corners like that and it scares the hell out of me.

OK, so they invented Zorbing. And that suspended pendulum/sled with the airplane propeller on the back. And they also perfected the use of river jetboats. And now this.
Per capita, these are the greatest people on earth.

My old creative partner was a Kiwi and he taught me so much about enjoying life and not being caught up in stupid NYC b-s that I was caught up in.

However, I have a soft spot for Kiwis, and for anyone who builds their own, personal monorail, regardless of how it might be powered.

I guess I'm probably overreacting, but I feel that Jalopnik has been publishing too many non-car related posts in recent times.

I swear, there's just something about New Zealand - livestock and human-powered roller-coasters, together at last.
