    This is Jeff Chabotte.. My story ran recently on Jalopnik.. I'm the guy who restored the Griff Car from Back to the Future part 2. Actually, my story ran on Oct 23.


    If you'd like, I run a web hosting service, and could run a mirror site for you temporarily to alleviate some traffic and prevent further costs. All you'd have to do is put the pages up on my server, then make your site re-direct to mine in the meantime and when the traffic dies down you can take it back. I could even help you with the redirection if need be.

    @Mikethebike: That was my first thought too. The approach and departure angles of the Lambo wouldn't permit it to be driven in and out, I suspect. Then there's drainage and weatherproofing issues to consider.

    @trevor2k: Yeah, this got literally hundreds upon hundreds of "diggs". Which is a pet peeve, because every friggin' article that gets a "digg" ends up taking about five minutes to load, because now it has to chat with digg.com every time it wants to load something. Worst. System. EVAR.

    @layabout: The ad on that says it's a '79 Mustang, but I'm pretty sure that's Pinto side glass.

    It also looks like the rear axle has been moved aft to extend the wheelbase (100" originally, IIRC), and the quarter windows were modified slightly so it didn't look quite so much like a Pinto.
