This is the one that got away. for decades it has only been whispered of, among the cognoscenti, in hushed and reverential tones. Well beyond the elegance of the Ferrari badging, it's the classic Pinninfarina style that really tells of this classic vehicle's breeding.
Too bad they didn't bring to Barrett Jackson, where they could have added and easy two zeroes to that price.
It's really cute, however when I think about putting one In my garage, I probally would choose a Fiat 500 or 600-amino above this little truckette. Gotta keep it in the family.
So, following the logic of this entire rebuild, if I slap a prancing stallion badge on the front of my Mustang (already equipped with leather) and put a machined aluminum ball on the shifter I can call it a Ferrari Pony Car?

Normally I am not a fan of Ferrari replicas, or some real Ferraris for that matter, but specifically I hate things that aren't Fezzas having a prancing horse stuck to them as an after thought to fool slack jawed idiots.
However, this is just too cute to hate. In fact I really really like it! I only hope there is only ever going to be one of these though or the magic is going to be lost forever in a sea of Japitaliana... or something!
@englishwhitetrash: No, I just agree with your statement, "I hate things that aren't Fezzas having a prancing horse stuck to them." That stunt turned a cute little Asian toy into an offensive sham.
Since when did Ferrari put their badges onto a Kei micropickup?
I think its a beautiful truck, reminds me of the compact Toyota cabover vans from the 80s. I also wonder.. about the frame stress of that motor being hung off of the back. I also wonder how safe it is to drive this thing around.
@Accordforall: I like that idea. The Kei truck will be sort of like a dinghy... this would be good for London! Park the truck outside of the city centre and then pay the much lower congestion charge! (that's how it works, right?"
