Cerberus has actually cut almost ALL R&D money for new model development. There are no new platforms in the works, no new cars being designed. All that's being done is cosmetic updates on existing models.

When was the last time you saw a spy shot or leak or rumor for any Chrysler product beyond the recently released Ram?
All claims to the contrary (that I've seen) were vague enough to have been generated on the spot.

I think that Bob "the builder" Nardelli could get Chrysler to focus on building energy efficient cars, as could the American car industry as a whole, knowing its their last chance before bankruptcy.

Either way, I'd be out of there before I got "goosed" by by the falling canopy. With a maverick like Nardelli in the cockpit, there's bound to be some spin-outs.
