    @EVEs_Mako: I'm sure the LeMons judges would allow this - I'm pretty sure Judge Loverman once said that he'd allow a $3000 beater Citroen SM in with little to no questions. And I doubt a Delorean will be burning the track up (unless it hits 88mph).

    Because most of the people that buy them are too busy trying to fit light strings, fake rocket boosters, fake flux capacitors, and fake Mr. Fusions to be worried about performance in the REAL world.

    THIS. God, I am so freaking tired of back to the future styled Deloreans. The truth is that while every car deserves a following, I never understood the following of the Delorean. Neat, quirky, odd, but not a great car - and people love it. Yet, on other cars - nobody cares.

    @iantm: I dare you to find a gathering of more than 4 DeLoreans where are least one of them doesn't have a flux capacitor and two of them have "OUTATIME" plates.


    If I ever got one of these it would get a motor swap and either a full polish on the body or PAINTED!

    @Tanshanomi: Well, it's only stainless if the owner is smart enough to use non-metallic scouring pads when removing scratches. Metallic scouring pads tend to embed filings in the stainless which leads to the uncharacteristic surface rust you see above.
