    The report I heard on the news this morning said it would be on an "honor system" as to whether you are really unemployed. Plus, Jay is covering the cost of parking (normally $10 to $20 depending on event).


    I'm thinking of spending all week on Jalopnik to get myself fired. Then I can go honestly.

    @engineerd thinks cannoli is deserving of a star: I'm guessing they picked Monday at 10 AM as the time to give out the tickets to increase the chances that anybody who isn't unemployed when he picks them up has a good chance of being that way by show night.


    The truly sad part of this is that I'm sure these tix will be very hot with the scalpers. Free tickets = ∞ profit.

    You know, the sad thing is that California isn't too far behind Michigan. I think we are hovering right around the 10% unemployment rate, with worse to come.


    So when do we get our free show?
