This is the car that started my infatuation with wedgy shaped cars and Gigiuaro (sp?) styled cars. Still sits at the top of my list of favorite movie cars.

Most likely, this is the "hero car" driven by Roger Moore in the close-ups. Several other chassis were used to display the tires tucking into the body and fins protruding. And of course, the full-sized wet submersible that cruised underneath the Caribbean sea (that doubled for the Mediterranean) was simply a body shell w/2 scuba divers driving.

Dear Stupid Women of the World,

I'd listen to the darling Domino.

Spite her, and she'll kill you.

Hey, FEMA's in the market for hurricane response vehicles.

This car is definitely high on my list of movie cars that I would like to own. It's not the top car on the list, that spot goes to the M4S from The Wraith.

It's probably better that the Lotus wind up in the hands of someone who would better care for it than I would. If that someone allows it to be seen by the public, so much the better.

The car I really want is the Jag in The Spy Who Shagged Me.

@petersterncan: the Vette in that has been forever seared into my 'want' list since I saw it. Didn't hurt to have Heather Graham there too.

Well, I guess it is more intriguing than the Tin Man's Cadillac.

    Also, the redhead? Smokin'

@PatFromGundo: Totally. I wouldn't mind Rogering any of those three a little Moore.

This is the second best use of an Esprit and diving in a movie. The first was in Pretty Woman.
