Do mind that he won't be able to call it a Ferrari or a Pininfarina or maybe even a P4/5 and can't use the name NART unless he get people to let him use the name.
And there's like only one major racing organization that'll allow this car to run at a race...
@FrankRizzo: Well, it's midengined, so that rules out a couple of Ferraris. I'm guessing it's 458. The proportions seem to match up, and the amount of hood over the front wheels, as seen from the side-profiles, match the 458 better than the 430.
But heck, it's just a guess. It could be based on a brand new Ferrari hypercar for all I know.
$3M USD to sponsor this car in the Nurburgring 24 Hour race seems like peanuts for the all the exposure it's getting. I wish Mint Advertising had the cash to do it.
@Al Navarro: Not the right demographic for the network. Plus, we don't advertise. People advertise with us. We tried it the other way around once and it didn't work out as profitably.
@Ray Wert:
I wasn't thinking from practical standpoint...more from a vanity (and I'm not saying that in a dissy way) perspective. JG claims he will keep the car in the race livery in perpetuity...how is $3M not a good deal for "in perpetuity".
Anyone know if Germany allows tobacco ads on cars?
If it is not an Enzo underneath is it really a P4/5 Competizione? A 458 Italia underneath while probably technically superior just would make it a totally different car even if it has the same body on it. If it is 458 Italia based, I propose Mr. Jim Glickenhaus call it the P3/5 Competizione.

(Yes, I know it'll be constructed completely out of unobtainium, I'm asking about the base car).
