The front end of the Jag looks absolutely tiny to be pulling that volume of car. In fact, it looks like a Jag got rear-ended by a 1966 Ford Country Sedan wagon.
@POLAЯMISSESEVEЯYBODY: So when they get to the cemetery and the actual grave, he just backs it up and it drops the coffin like it's a turtle laying an egg? That would be worth seeing.
@POLAЯMISSESEVEЯYBODY: That photo reminds me; before I left town for Thanksgiving I was working late, and when I left downtown I got stopped at a light, and I swear an S10 pickup (the older boxy style) crossed the street in front of me with 3-4 people sitting on the edge of the pickup bed, and they were holding a casket steady that was sitting on one of those little scissor-type rolling deals (complete with the brown crushed velvet skirt hiding the scissor thing). I was too busy picking my jaw up off the floor to notice if they were dressed for a funeral or not, so I guess it could have been a prop for a play or something...but I didn't get the sense they were dressed in work clothes. And no procession or anything following, just the lone truck. If I hadn't been exhausted and late heading home in the first place, I'd have followed them just to see where they were going.
@nosirrahg: My first job out of high school was with a casket manufacturer. We'd make deliveries (of empty boxes, of course) all the time in a Ford LTD wagon with windows that weren't tinted. You wouldn't believe the looks you'd get at stoplights.
@Deartháir and his eight little drained beers: That's about as tasteful as the guy I worked with at that same place who bought a baby casket and made a cooler out of it. Big, big hit at the keggers.
@layabout met the real Santa: Give it thirty, maybe forty years, and you'll find this thing sitting in a junkyard somewhere, just begging for a car/truck conversion.
Chop the top down to normal levels, and I'll take it! Come on, it'd be everything you ever needed in an SUV with all the class of a Jag. A station Jagon!

I wonder what happened to the Type-E hearse that was made for that movie?

Instead of being an XJ8, it would be an ISK8.
