    My (considerably more well off) friend offered to let me drive a 2008 Merc S600 vs. the Lutzmobile. It was turned down... I don't get it, the Merc has a V12 but it has less torque and less hp then the caddy. It's also incredibly heavy. I really just wanted to see how well the ass-cupping seats (they adjust with the movement of the car, similar to the M5) could keep up with race track driving. #lutzvssiler

    I was going to try and join this race but gm said no.

    The best strategy for Wes is to get a picture of himself standing on Maximum Bob's lawn, and show it to Lutz before the race. Hopefully, he'll get so worked up about those damn kids, he'll be unable to drive properly. #lutzvssiler

    What happened to my comment?

    Anyway, GM is bringing Heinricy to sub. And it's not a head-to-head, it's a 5 lap time trial.

    There is no info about format, but I'd guess that the "average Joes" will each get 5 laps to set a time. Then Lutz will get 5 laps to beat them, and will.

    Then the journo's get their 5 laps each, and GM will sub in Heinricy to mop them up. #lutzvssiler

    I like Lutz (I have met him a few times), but even he can ruin a bit of his coolness with the ubiquitous GM employee badge on his belt. I used to hate when employees would wear that outside of the office.
