    I think my little avatar icon here is a Brougham emblem off one of these cars- I pried it off a Malaise Chrysler at the junkyard a while back and I'm pretty sure it was a New Yorker.

    I was expecting to see the front end squish downward an inch or two. What, did they stick a railroad tie under the front crossmember? That is a rather suspicious shadow...

    OK everyone, a fun fact. The 1975 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham is really a continuation of the 1974 Chrysler Imperial. Chrysler discontinued the Imperial Name Plate, but with all the money they spent on unique items for this car (The Grill, and hidden headlamps, the rear fascia, and the individual interior components that were suppose to be Imperial only) they decided to have an upper New Yorker model, and decrease the price (If I remember correctly, I think it was around $2,000 compared with the Imperial the year before).

    Yep, it is a Big 3 product allright.


    But it is kind of cute
