I thought for sure that the Jalops would have open season on that Avenger. I actually liked the styling of the Avengers in those years. The faux rear diffuser was a nice (and then rarely seen) touch. The design was writing checks that the powertrain couldn't cash, though.

@GreenN_Gold: Exactly! A friend of mine has an Avenger. I kind of like the looks... somewhat aggressive. The performance was way below what I was expecting from the looks. Needs more 3000GT drivetrain.

Not for nothing, but where those cars are parked looks like it was a dirt parking lot. Off-road. I swear if the insurance companies are going to screw these hundreds of people over and not cover them for this...

@Turbolence88: It's a dirt parking lot. The fairgrounds are only used a handful of times a year. Most of the time it's a field. They'll get screwed anyway if they don't have comprehensive and maybe even then because it's a flood and you have to have flood insurance. Michigan is a no-fault state, if you ain't got the coverage - it's yo-fault.

I get it, this is a metaphor for how Michigan residents are struggling to keep the music in their hearts and their heads above water.

Daughter of a friend of mine was there with his 4WD Suburban. She drove out.

@mytdawg: Based on picture #3, she was lucky about where the vehicle was parked. 4 wheel drive or a beast of a vehicle didn't save #3 from getting stuck.

Yeah, they wouldn't let people get their cars- they made them leave them. I would be pissed.

I wonder how many Cavaliers they lost?

@JDisnidiet: After a long meeting, it was determined that the locust request is out of the scope of work for union employees. Try negotiating that into the contract next time.
