    With the way my friends keep their cars, I'll pass on sharing thanks. I couldn't stand to have to push the multiple fast food bag (some still with food) out of the way on a regular basis.

    I think we can all chip in if we're sharing a French car. We'll never get to drive it, though, since it'll almost never run and there's so many Jalops.

    I'd get one if it came with the "Swedish Massage" seat option...

    ...French enthusiasts of cheap Swedish furniture. I know so many of those people. They go on and on about crepes and which types of sofas are the most stylish. Now, they will have a way to share crappy cars, while chatting about flat-packed furniture.

    I hope the stores start stocking Industrial Strength Hooker Residue Remover.

    Wow, this car sharing business might be something. I guess Hertz and Enterprise were "cutting edge".

    @blah blah blah:

    Stupid lack of preview.

    It's a great way to justify having only a totally impractical car. If you can deal with biking/taking the bus/taking the train to work to justify your garage kept ludicrous-mobile, ZipCar or the like can hook you up with the grocery runner/minivan/pickup that you might need for an hour at a time.

    @blah blah blah: Don't get me wrong, I would only have one car if we had decent mass transit here and with ZipCar and the like that car, as you pointed out, could be completely impractical.

    Unfortunately, Detroit doesn't believe in mass transit (no, SMART and the MuggerMover don't count) so we have to have two cars. I will add a third car once the house is done.
