I know Detroit has its unpleasant areas, but the people who drove across the obviously engulfed in a large quantity of flammable stuff, should have their licenses revoked and their reproductive systems disabled, permanently.
I've seen passes at 90+ in SUV's on the shoulder just to be "first" to a construction bottleneck. I've seen battered cars on the side of the highway that were obviously hit repeatedly until the car was out of the lanes.
I've seen emergency vehicles with lights blazing tailgated at less than a foot by people trying to get an advantage in the traffic.
@joneez is wearing green for FOTA: Yes, I'm happy. Now I can look forward to the landing, another shuttle launch next month, and the Ares 1-X launch in September!
@engineerd misses Uncle Pete: I currently live in Santa Maria Ca. with a 2nd story bedroom view of everything leaving Vandenberg. The day they nixed the west coast Shuttle program was a sad one indeed 'cause I might not get to see a Shuttle launch before they're gone forever.
That said, I'm seriously exited about the Ares launch! I may yet get to see a moon mission!
Don't y'all name things in Detroit? 8 Mile, 9 Mile...plus fighter jets cruising in at 100 feet, apocalyptic burnouts, houses selling for $2,500--what the hell is going on up there?!

Inventive, I'll give 'em that.

Looking forward to interviews with the idiots who drove over the exploding roadway.

Common sense is only common for those who possess it.
I don't believe the information gathered from such interviews would be of benefit to anyone (save maybe Jeff Foxworthy).
