    704hp and all he can do is 199.7? Couldn't pedal just a teeny bit more for the double ton?

    Sorry, 704hp is good for a shitload more speed than 199mph. My own incredibly lousily streamlined truck would break 100 with the measly 103hp it wears now; 700 would push it to about the same 199.


    I'm guessing better aero and wheelspin control is in order. And somebody less losertastic than James at the helm.

    704 HP? Maybe I'm missing something but a ZR-1 does over 200 mph with only 630 (give or take a few).


    Is 704 HP in a hydrogen fueled V8 different than 704 HP in a gasoline fueled V8?

    @Jimmie61: Both the F40 and Diablo were touching 200 mph in the early 90s with less than 500 hp each. Something's fishy about 704hp...the BMW H2R only generated 232 hp from a 6-liter V12.

    I'm a little surprised at the hatin' on Jesse. He's an interesting hoon, he stays out of trouble and he freely makes fun of himself. He's also apparently fearless, so I'll buy him a drink any day.

    I don't get it. 704 HP should be good for way more than 200 MPH, especially in something this streamlined. Correct me if I'm wrong, but cars with the same (or less) power and enough downforce to naerly drive upside down go faster all the time, right? Is there some kind of low redline or other weird limitation?


    Also, what the hell does Sandra Bullock SEE in this guy?

    @Otto-Mann: yeah, it doesn't say much about quantum and their product.


    you can totally funnel the hydrogen into a jet engine and it'll go faster


    or dump it into a Bugatti or something and pull out the gas tank...
