    This was for sale here in the Seattle area just a couple of years ago - I did take the wife by to look at it, but that didn't fly... If I had the right situation, tho' , I'd take this over the Hummer...

    I'm assuming those are made by Mattracks, but i could be wrong. If so, they can go at a pretty decent clip, and are a really cool thing for the right vehicle. Why they would be on a blinged out Hummer? Because the destination is SEMA, I suppose. Other wise, the heck if I know.

    @Sloop_John_B: If you've been to Yellowstone National Park in the winter,in the past few years, you see a lot of Mattracks out there on stuff. The "Snowcoach" tour has several full size Chevy Vans with these. I saw some park rangers using an Expedition with Mattracks. The funniest was the mini/shuttle bus with Mattracks. I think they said that the time to convert from Mattracks to regular wheels was just a couple of hours.

    Should do 6, maybe 7 miles per hour...


    This is one for the environmentalists. Make Jumbo SUVs slow and useless to the point of absurdity, Make them look kind of silly and nobody will want to buy or run one.


    It's even green! Works for me....
