    Peirce Brosnan was one of the best actors to play the role of James Bond.


    But Sean Connery is the only one to be James Bond.


    Just as there is only one Kirk, there is also only one James Bond: Sean Connery.

    @pauljones: Honestly? BROSNAN? A GOOD Bond? He was TERRIBLE! The guy just can't act. At least Craig has emotion.


    For what it's worth, I like Craig's Bond. I find him to be a spiritual, updated successor to Moore's Bond and, while not quite the level of oozing charm that Connery had in his heyday, certainly seems to exude that level of proficiency and confidence.

    @pauljones: of course the busiest day of the week is the same day you guys are having a "who is the best bond?" conversation.


    connery. he is *the* bond. daniel craig could be making a transporter movie and not know the difference.


    p.s. hugh jackman is so unsexy, imo. i think i'm missing some genes on my X chromosomes, because i'm completely unattracted to him, george clooney, and brad pitt.

    @How Wankelin' Got His Sig Back: No, George Lazenby was terrible. And so, on that note, was Roger Moore.


    Bond may not always have had the same emotional expression (something that Craig is indeed good at), he had much the same slick, laconic humor that Connery had.


    Plus, he drove Denise Richards around. That's a total win.
