    It could be worse. I ran across a Nissan dealer's add in the paper advertising the Nissan Versa as the (Brilliant) Opel Corsa.

    Besides using standard non copyrighted images, did anyone else bother to read the article? There was a startling trend with one of the Automakers, and that was Hyundai. It seems that their gimmick..... err promotion about buying the car back if you lose your income seems to be resonating with buyers. They are up 14%!

    In place of a Civic, I guess some people are going with a ...um...I don't even know which Hyundai competes with the Civc.

    @DrewDisegnaDue: Plenty of them stock piled in the U.K. So far two Honda dealerships in my area have closed down & now the factory has made huge cutbacks.

    Well, the typical non-enthusiast, non-caring Joe Blow just wants a commuter appliance anyway. How else would someone in their right mind buy a new Corolla?

    The only person i ever met that thought all cars look the same,was a rather dopey blonde girl i used to go out with. She once asked which is faster a red car or a blue car...........luckily she had a great body.

    Apart from one notable exception (her dad raced motorbikes) I have found the hotter the girl, the less she knows about the automobile. But I'm sure they laughed at the fact I didn't know which celebrity was doing another celebrity that week. And that I only needed three pairs of shoes...

    @idesigner: Yeah, but this is pretty bad considering that, as the biggest market for cars in the world, more individual models are likely sold here than in any other country.


    Also, Jalop itself posted a few days ago much more effective imagery of huge parking lots full of unsold cars. In the U.S.
