This one seems sorta politically incorrect or somethin. I can wear my neon green Driveshaft Through the Skull T-shirt anywhere really. School, hockey games, the garage when I'm working on the Tempo.
But I think I could offend people by showing up in a Shabbat Shalom M F R shirt.
@Ford Tempo Fanatic: On the other hand, if it was a Shabbat Shalom MotherFcukeR shirt, I have no doubt it would be readily available at a horrifying shopping mall near you.
This, along with 99% of all other car logo apparel is very douchey with the following exception: logo is on there because MBZ, BMW, Porsche, et. al. are sponsoring and even (like golf tournament, or charity event) and the get to add their logo to the event materials/apparel. Otherwise it's just like saying, i'm better than you because this is the brand of car I drive. Unless you have a golf shirt with "Pinto" embroidered on it, that would just be bad-ass...I've had a few Bimmers, a couple Porsches and 2 Mercedes, and never, ever have I dawned any apparel to indicate that. I once got a BMW cap as a gift and promptly gave it away, unworn. #jalopnikholidaygiftguide
As the driver of a '96 Miata, I can safely say that the description of the '94 is accurate. We '96 drivers, on the other hand, are the true connoisseurs of light weight sports cars. Those '94 drivers are philistines with their six fewer horsepower and interior rear view mirrors that are affixed to the windshield header and not glued to the windscreen as God intended.
I see you are not impressed. We shall settle this on the autocross course. Would you care to step outside, into the parking lot?
@Thrashy, Slayer Of Cones: I was gonna say something mean and petty about a trailer towing package, but I won't. That would just make me...mean...and petty.
@milo_carrera--eyepatch-free since 1982.: I used to say that my '96's R package was actually not installed, but the prototype Z-71 package was put on instead. The car sat so high that it towered visibly over my '92.
Oh and @Thrashy, hitter or Cones: We speak reverently of Hollis our father of STS2, and gladly accept the whoopins ladled by him in the hope of further knowledge to be gleaned.
Hmmm...Big black Dodge Ram, loaded .40 S&W in the console, NRA sticker in rear window above Browning sticker. I can't IMAGINE what it would say. But then, I have never had a use for psychoanalysis.
@Deartháir and his eight little drained beers: Haha, that'll be nice. It appears i'm the only one that gets weird novelty presents at Christmas that i have no use for, last year i had a book similar to this one,i found it a couple of days ago & it still hasn't been looked at since last year.
Last year, I got a euro license plate, a fantastic huge framed photo of my old Rambler and my buddy's old Impala, a new floor-jack, a power rotary buffer, new taillights, new floormats, a bottle of Crown Royal Special Reserve, two bottles of Forty Creek and a set of Guinness glasses.
I can honestly say there's not one item in there I haven't used somehow.

I think the BMW tie is in good taste and classy. However, this tie is a bit garish. #jalopnikholidaygiftguide

Unless, of course, Lancias, Citroëns or old Japanese sedans are included.
What does my desire for a Mazda Chantez say about me?

Oh who am I kidding? I already do!
And forget V12s; I say go straight for a W16 (like Bugatti) or an H16 (like BRM).
