could it be the torque? Too much of it can be a bad thing for grip, not sure though. I just recall an episode of top gear with a tuned Mercedes V12 bi-turbo that had no grip and traction control interference that was unstoppable.
Editors Note: No Camaro's were hurt in this video. Well actually we scrapped one to get parts for this and some guy wearing a Burberry hoodie and "stunna shades" came in and made growling noises while violating one.
@Ash78: Seriously, I'm telling my kid to skip the namby pamby liberal arts college, spend six months at a tech school getting the necessary certifications to do computer tech work, and laugh all the way to the bank while his friends spend four years getting drunk on their way to the unemployment office.
@FrankGrimes: I concur at the risk of losing some jalop-cred. It could use a deeper growl. It sounds a bit tinny for my aural tastes. Some of that might be due to my speakers, but I've heard better sounding engines through the same speakers.

The Dominator widebody Mustang pulled over 1g in the early nineties.
For comparison the Corvette ZR-1 pulls 1.06 I believe.
Is it the tires?
