Hell! Most so called "capitalists" go grovelling to the govt with a bowl in their hands when the chips are down. Other times the same bunch moan about taxes. I think there could be a better balance some where.

Probably 95% of Americans couldn't even tell you who writes the paycheck to a doctor working in a typical hospital, or who has the power to fire a doctor for bad behavior. Asking them to understand the system as a whole is hopeless.
Once you convince people that the dems are conspiring to take away their access (real or illusory) to care, you destroy any hope of real debate.
This nation of suckers will get the reform it deserves.
