@WheatKing: That GYN is just a chick car...

Now, his upcoming two-seater, the PROCTO, should be interesting... I hear it has recumbent seating for two...

@Charles_Barrett - Now with Variable-Valve Timing: I would think, based on the name, that the PROCTO would have prone "seating".

Has anybody here ever been to their local science museum? Remember the exercise bike hooked to a dynamo that would light up light bulbs? Remember how much effort it took to get two of them lit? An electric car needs a heck of a lot more juice than two 50 watt light bulbs. Other than that, I'll give him some points for an innovative if unfeasible approach.

Looking at the publicity gained from this project no doubt car makers will be keeping an eye on this guy. With designs like that i hope Lotus snap him up.

@layabout met the real Santa: That's what I was hoping when I graduated from this same degree course. Sadly, I remain a salesman.

If you visit the Coventry degree show you'll find tens of similarly high quality projects, it becomes a bit of a competition to get the most publicity.

    I didn't get much.... / enough.

Issues of practicality be damned. I give this guy credit for innovation. Innovation may not always be successful, but without it, we wouldn't be here today. I applaud the creativity and the effort, even while I snicker at the paradoxical notion of an "exercise car"

@pauljones: i disagree. while innovation in technology has reduced the cost of entry and increased prosperity, humping would have occurred anyway.

    @┤├NICKNICK:

    LOL.

    Smartass. :)

But if it were not for innovation, the Greek soldiers would never have come up with the Trojan Horse, and so would still be still be humping each other at the gates of Troy rather than lusting after Helen of Troy.

In fact, so clever was that innovative ploy, the named a condom after it.

    God bless innovation.
