Why? Shelby licensed his name to some of the vehicles. To his credit, Shelby did pull his licensing agreement after receiving complaints. But was he paid royalties? How long did he know? We're not sure if these suits will have standing, but so far we've yet to get a comment out of Carroll Shelby and are awaiting a comment from his lawyer. [CBS-11]

<![CDATA[ There's a Car Man For Every Woman! ]]> When Daddy hands his giggly teenage daughter the keys to a Shelby Mustang, how is she supposed to know how to keep it running? <![CDATA[ Million Dollar Ford Shelby Mustang GT 350R ]]> GT350R2.jpgThe RM Auction folks are throwing a bidding party to coincide with the Bonhams & Butterfields Auction of Collector Cars, Pebble Beach Concours d' Elegance, and the Monterey Historics - all happening in or around Monterey, California this weekend. Available to the highest bidder will be this 1965 Ford Shelby Mustang GT 350R. The R in this case signifies that this was one of the 34 actual SCCA B/Production race cars, as opposed to the slightly more common showroom versions. RM estimates the final bid to land in the neighborhood of a million dollars. We're going to keep our eyes out for Dr. Evil, and liquid hot magma. [1965 Ford Shelby Mustang GT350R via RM Auctions]
