    Please someone tell me how this car fits within Citroen's Engelsian ethos?


    What's *really* weird is that the last time Citroen was this sassy was around 1972-3, a dark time for the U.S. auto industry. Think about it...back then they were messing around with Maserati, rotary engines, and a Bertone concept car that presaged the Lancia Stratos.

    So, it's wild, it's crazy, it's complicated and expensive. It's practically unbuildable. It serves no actual human needs. What do we do? Fast track it to production, that's what!

    This video is an extract from the French TV show "Auto-Moto". Think of it as a somewhat better version of Motor Week.

    The journalist does mention a V8 engine, 600HP, and a tube chassis with very large brakes.

    I still think it's hideous, but it's growing on me. Kinda like the first time I saw the Veyron or the Enzo, it was too shocking. Now I think they're gorgeous. Just give me some time and I might learn to like this, too.


    Hopefully the production version doesn't look too much like a Prius.

    Yesterday, while laying on my deathbed with the plague, I was able to catch up on Top Gear. I watched the one with the Avantime vs. Evo X.


    I wonder if now they will do an episode where they try to get an Evo X as fast as this?
