Skoda Superb GreenLine's Only Emission Is The Sex And CO2

For those who haven't noticed, we're a little dragon for the 2009 Skoda Superb (i.e. the Czech Passat) and it's clever TwinDoor system. And a version that gets better mileage and is better for the environment, why not? This version of the Superb gets a 1.9-Liter inline-four turbodiesel good for about 105 horsepower and the US equivalent of 46.1MPG.

2008 Saturn Vue Green Line Hybrid To Get 25 MPG City, 32 MPG Highway

The GM brand all about Saturnalia announced today the all-new 2008 Saturn Vue Green Line hybrid will have a fuel economy rating of 25 miles per gallon in city and 32 miles per gallon on the highway. Those are numbers putting it in line with the Toyota Highlander hybrid and the Ford Escape hybrid. In addition, Saturn's priced the hybrid version of the Vue at $24,795 — pricing that slots it lower than any other hybrid SUV on the market. Plus it gets those Opel-tastic good looks to boot. Exclusive! The 2008 Saturn Vue Greenline (Hybrid) And Redline (Not So Much) Live And In The Sheet Metal

We're not afraid to admit at least one of us (that would be me) really digs the new styling of the Saturn Vue. True, it's vaguely jellybean-esque, but it's still so much more appealing to the eyes than the boxy Rubbermaid exterior of the last one, it's hard not to be rooting for the little CUV. We dunno how either the Greenline Hybrid or Redline "performance version" actually perform, but man, we like how they look.
