@I was drivin' that Model A: I always preferred the Mitsubishi and Jeep trucks the Dakota killed off so I gained a rather negative view of that badge after that. I know it was to stop sales cannibalisation which makes good sense but if anything they should have rebranded the Comanche as a Dodge as it was superior to the Dakota of the time and looked better too. #chrysler
Good for them for continuing to race, and even to branch out. And for working to put out new and improved product. This might still work. Fingers crossed for a return of the mighty MoPAR days. #chrysler
The phrase "Going to the bathroom!" isn't so bad, but if he starts sending "Wow, asparagus really DOES do that!" Then it's time to unsubscribe. #chrysler
I do like Chrysler re-organization Wednesdays. Gives me something to do till I get off work. Plus I finally gave in and joined twatter. Thanks to Ray, Chrysler and the Italians.
Can you just please state once and for all that the 500 will be sold as a FIAT and not as a Chrysler so the PG-13 crowd around here can go back to study hall and STFU? #chrysler
First, it's an '88 Formula, which means if it's the original engine is a 2.8 V6, and not the 2.5 four banger. Second, Car & Driver magazine actually built a Honda CRX, with a second CRX powertrain in the rear, ala Fiero, and made one gonzo, over the top all wheeel drive car. They di say the hard part was getting both engines to respond in sync., and paid some really talented people a bunch of money to make it happen.

There was (is?) a company that would put an extra Northstar V8 in the trunk of a 90s Cadillac Eldorado, driving the rear wheels.
They also mentioned issues with syncing the engines, but I believe in the end they decided not to worry about it-- as long as one engine isn't way overpowering the other, it works itself out. If one end loses traction and starts to rev too high, the other end will likely upll/push it to better traction. #hybridpontiacfiero

A Hybrid uses a combination of ICE and electric motor to drive the same wheels. e-4WD uses an ICE to drive one set of wheels and an electric motor to drive the other set, thus negating the need to run a driveshaft the length of the car.

That, and it arrived on the scene about ten years before mid-size pickups replaced the compact variety, permanently. #chrysler
