    @mr_dude: what was the quote attributed to Colin Chapman? Simplify and add lightness. Perhaps this test track is all that's needed to 'simplify'? After all, how many supercars have those Japanese automakers sold?

    @mr_dude: It's as much of a supercar as an NSX. What else has come out of Japan that comes close? The gargantuan GT-R? Or its predecessors in the Skyline heritage?

    @mr_dude: so then we reach the same point - Japan and its test tracks aren't producing supercars. So their test tracks are overkill. A 'normal' car goes through a test track more like this - Volvo's as shown through an aerial view. Pretty basic, really.

    So Lotus' is plenty for the job of testing a very good sports car.

    Think i'll just be pedantic here and say the track is at Hethel, which is near Norwich. The city doesn't really have space for a testtrack.

    Being English, I'll now go back to having bad teeth, no empire and doing terrible things to my manservant.

    It has a white-wash like quality with a hint of dark matter to suggest a healthy diet of insects.

    The splatter has a classic shape with extended upper lines to suggest movement on the y-axis and sporting isolated after-poop streaks.

    With a shape and consistency that conforms with all expectations, I rate this poop 4 out of 5. #googlestreetview

    First, the photos don't tell us much about the supposed incident. However, it's pretty obvious that the truck didn't hit the bicyclist, because the angles don't match. He/she most likely hit the brakes very hard and toppled over without ever touching the truck.

    Second, how do we know that the bicyclist was a "little old lady" ? The photos are not nearly clear enough to discern that.

    I sincerely doubt the truck driver even knew the bicyclist fell over as the truck passed him/her, and I fail to see how this is noteworthy. #streetview

    @Ben Wojdyla: I guess my *wink wink nudge nudge* sensor was stuck in the off position. I read your post as being truly outraged at the Dutch firemen. Since neither the photos nor common sense would suggest that a truck full of firemen ran over an old lady and callously drove away, I commented accordingly.

    Jalopnik may mock the outrage by pretending to join in, but when the rest of the interwebs are truly outraged, it makes it hard to tell the difference. Next time I'll know better. #streetview
