    I'm sure it's in wonderfully Teutonic bad taste, but I can't tell, because the hamsters evidently hate Mac users and now keep the pic previews from us full time and I don't always have time to click through.

    @FstrPssycw: I suppose that makes me feel somewhat better, but it doesn't make my recent Jalop experiences pleasant. The login crap with Safari 4 makes it unusable there, and now all the previews are gone.


    I just want to be able to waste my afternoon on Jalopnik without straining myself. Have the hamsters all been maimed by Gizmodo's deadly machines or what?

    A little late to the party here but:


    Hooray.


    Rabbit was dumb. Bringing back a nameplate that is only remembered today by people 40+, then trying to sell it to the 16-24 crowd. Bad idea. It might have been okay as a "retro trimline" for the Golf or something. But not a full name change.


    Golf is universally recognized and is in the top 3 selling cars of all time.

    Like most other people, I had grown accustomed to the Golf...even though it's way sillier than even "Rabbit." Either way, VW owners are so hip they'll just swap it to whatever it didn't come with.
