What planet are you from?
11/27/08
What?

Actually, pretty much any UK Chrysler/Rootes Group product ever, excepting a couple of big Humbers and the pretty Sunbeam Alpine/Tiger.

We did eventually get the Cologne V6 in the Scorpio, I don't know if that helped much.

If lust after this engine, you could also get it in 2.9L form in the Ranger and Bronco II for several years.
And in 4.0L form, you could get it in the Ranger, Aerostar, Explorer and the current Mustang.
Unless it was the Cosworth version, the Turbo 4 is more interesting and more powerful.

Tell you what, though - I'd like to find a totaled '97+ Explorer and pull/swap the 4.0 SOHC into an XR4Ti.

Not bland, just ill-proportioned.
Clarkson likened it to a dog laying a cable, which, although cruel, is accurate.

How long til some enterprising ricers fit a K24 into one? Son of CRX! Sadly that ain't going to happen anywhere near me, since they're held in high regard as the cousin of all hybrids.

This is a SET-UP! Dohh.. Fooled again.
Now you've got me looking for 400i's that need an LS2 swap.

Diesel Olds Toronado?

Ya cant count the Z as a loser / turkey.
But ya can add the GTO as the current bomb..
There is also a slew of other vehicles.. that are losers..
PT Loser
Aztek
Rendevous
Aerostar
GM Vans
Lumina
My memory cant serve me enough to remove the hundreds of failures that have come across the chopping block at GM.
DOnt forget about the Corvair..

By "GM Vans" I assume you mean the "dustbusters" and their dog's-arse-ugly spawn, all on the U-body platform... the first-generation models weren't bad for their time, though, to be honest. I'm assuming this distinction because, at least around here, the Astro's been a success.

Me always wanted 400i.
11/26/08
Now I just need someone to turn one into a Shooting Brake for me, and I'm set...

What do you mean by "constructed", though?
The Prius brought wacky good economy to a family-size car. It's a hybrid that's practical, and it actually came first in Japan. Plus, the hybrid system is much more technically interesting and complex.

The Aztek, for example, is not a turkey, it's just awful.
A turkey is a car that's cool or innovative but didn't sell, whether due to taste or timing or cost.
The Bertone Volvo is awesome, but no one simultaneously wants a car like it and is a Volvo customer.
The SSR was too expensive for most of the market it appealed to.
The Insight got incredible mileage but only sat two and apparently was low-volume from the start.
See what I mean?
