This time we find out the shape-shifting of the new Knight Rider has its roots in this classic Turkish series... though we don't think the new one will become a shopping cart. This one is fairly easy to figure out, unless our favorite young Turk, Oyumurtaci, has a different translation.

<![CDATA[ Turkish Knight Rider Rides Again ]]> Everyone had so much fun with with Turkish Knight Rider that we thought we'd share some more of the parody goodness with you. Whereas American Knight Rider merely fights crime with his tricked out ride, Turkish Knight Rider uses GITT to pick up girls, sell gas and mess with jerks in fur coats, which is exactly what we'd do. In this clip GITT races a Corvette around a track inexplicably used as a throughway for Turkish school children. Enjoy! [Source: OPET]

<![CDATA[ For All Of Those Sick Of Knight Rider: Turkish Knight Rider ]]> We have to admit that any interest most of us had in Knight Rider quickly waned with the news that Will Arnett was out as the voice of K.I.T.T. But we have a new hero! You have to hand it to Turkish gas company OPET for capturing the sentiment, cheese and enthusiasm of the original series. And if you thought a Shelby Mustang was an unlikely heir to the original Pontiac, what could you possibly say about a Fiat-based Murat 124? GITT is truly the new KITT. [Source: OPET]
