    You can't keep a good Brava down! I can't imagine it developing any maladies, that a swift buffing with a shop cloth can't repair. Maybe you should try tapping, ever so gently with the really big hammer, on the Marelli ignition?

    Did the Squareback get a nose job?

    The Karmann Ghia was running on 3 cylinders all day --- we think we've got that sorted. Hopefully we'll be able to pick up some laps tomorrow and get back into IOE contention. #24hoursoflemonstexas

    @homeslice60148: Yeah, I keep saying "I'll go to the next one" but something always turns up. 3 races in TX next season, so maybe I'll finally make it to one of them.

    @TurboBrick [LIGIER]: I was just over there yesterday! I got totally lost and stumbled upon what is now called Port San Antonio (former Kelly AFB, and KellyUSA). Port SA was billed to be a massive rail, road and air cargo port, but the recession has killed off most expansion or influx of new offices. Boeing still uses the runway, for maintenance of the Air Force passenger jets, but after 5pm the streets are abandoned. It's like going through a massive ghost town. It would be perfect to close off for a weekend and set it up for track racing. Triple wide streets, massive parking lots, and there's only one way in and out. #24hoursoflemonstexas

    @UDMan: The Gremlin limped off the track with an engine sound like a garbage disposal chewing on lug nuts about mid-afternoon. If it gets back on the track today, it's an IOE front-runner. #24hoursoflemonstexas

    @Murilee Martin: We blew a gasket on saturday that we waited 2 hours to get a replacement then couldn't get it in before race session one was over. Today we couldn't keep the car from overheating within 5 laps and when we tried to go slow (slower) to get the car to last longer, we got black flagged and told to leave until we could get it to go faster. We packed it in then. We will be back for Gator-o-rama!! #24hoursoflemonstexas
