    Do not do it. It will make the Raptor just another truck. Its not just another truck. Its a giant "Fuck You" to the middle aged women who drive their crew cab rigs to Stop & Shop.

    Can I please have an inexpensive regular cab pick-up with a vinyl bench seat, steel bumpers and an ass end that isn't taller than me? Preferably something that looks like a '73 F-100 and without those stupid "daylight doors."

    No, really - if you want to make a Ford more popular make the logo smaller, not LARGER... that excuse for a grill is the first thing getting replaced at the aftermarket shop, I guarantee you.

    I would like a Crew Cab Raptor but I also want it to be FWD (I heard that gets better gas mileage) and it needs to be lower so my Champion Bichon Frises can hop into the back seat. Plus, it rides too rough. I almost spilled my latte!

    Seems like EVERY truck has a crewcab these days (seriously, count the number of late-model regular cabs you see over the next week). Why not just go all-out and make an Expedition Raptor? What good is a 4' bed anyway?

    @Ash78: I don't think the Raptor is really designed for hauling sheets of plywood in the first place, so I actually think it makes less sense to have a full bed than a crew cab.


    The SVT is really about performance first, then style. I'm sure 90% will be sold to Texans who are all hat, no cattle and the rest will go to genuine off road enthusiasts looking to do a little baja racing of their own. Either way, a little more room for passengers would be a welcome improvement for both classes of buyer, I imagine.
