    Correct me if I am wrong, but I think this game means the return of POINT TO POINT RACING

    Or at least, less racetrack-like courses. FM1 had Kaido Mountain and on forzamotorsport.net we whined and bitched and begged for a new Kaido Mountain circuit... particularly the drifting community.


    You guys interested in buying this better preorder to get the preorder car.

    I also wonder if 200 tracks means, 100 plus them in reverse.

    BMW e39= 5 Series= M5.


    BMW e46= 3 Series= M3


    BMW e93= 3 series=M3 (this gen) which is the one in the vid.

    When I saw this I got all excited and actually went to you tube and watched the trailer back to back with the GT5 trailer. I'm still more excited about Gran Turismo 5. The fact that the cars didn't look like they landed that hard when they came off the jump still makes me thing Gran Turismo will be the better game but it certainly is close.

    I noticed that about the jump too, but the new GT5 trailer from this year's E3 isn't out yet. Just wait until you see that, I read that it blows this away.

    2) "A firm release date is not yet set, but we're guessing Microsoft will release Forza Motorsport 3 just before this year's Christmas season to solidify their crown in the console racing wars."


    Was your guess based off of the "Coming October 2009" message at the end of the trailer?

    @DonLuc: Seriously! GT5's release was supposed to be what I was gonna use to justify buying a PS3 but between this and no price drops at E3, my 360 is looking pretty good.

    Don't kill me for saying this, but while I like playing racing games, when I do occasionally play my PS3, I prefer FPS games. (Just preordered COD Modern Warfare 2)

    @leavethegun-takethecannoli: The real problem is decent racing games for consoles are few and far between. I think GTA IV (while not that great of a game overall) is fantastic for racing and driving in general.

    BTW, I love how popular the Ford GT is still. The car hasn't been sold new in several years, but it is still prominantly featured in video games. Awesome.
