We've confirmed that the rumored 1.5-liter 3-banger turbo for the U.S.-market 2014 Ford Fusion is bogus. Yes, there's a new 1.5 EcoBoost, but it's a four-cylinder, and it's going to replace the 1.6 EcoBoost in this particular application. Ford will announce it later this week.
