    @Ash78: Actually I have a friend who met him the day after he did a concert in Vancouver. While she only got to chat with him -- in a Second Cup coffee shop, of all places -- for about five minutes, she said that the "gangsta" image totally doesn't fit. Apparently he's quite a gentleman, very well-mannered and well-spoken.


    I only say that because I'm sure there's a song in there somewhere. Why am I thinking broadway showtune?

    @Deartháir: I don't doubt it. Most of those guys are pretty savvy businessmen and realize the image is mostly just packaging.


    In fact, I just read a blurb in Fortune magazine with 50 Cent yesterday...apparently he has a management/marketing book that just came out.
