    @Tommy861: Some say he shifts with his right hand because he lost his left in a tragic pants zipper accident and Iron Chef turned him down because he can only cook with 5w-40. All we know is that he is not the Stig but in fact, he is a clone from the Stig's toenail jam. #ultimagtr

    Sproing. If I was spending my money (and I've never gotten to where I could spend someone else's, dammit) I'd buy one of these over a 1.6 mil Ferrari any day. SBC for the win. This is right up there with the Ariel in my "if only" file. #ultimagtr

    Here's my check.

    I can avoid speed bumps, no problem. As it is, I've managed to avoid using reverse for 8 months. Speed bumps? Bah. Those are much easier to spot than 0.05° inclines. #ultimagtr

    @send lawyers, guns, and money: I'm a para in a wheelchair, and I drive an '84 300cd with hand controls. I've ran it out of gas twice and had to push it to the side with one hand. Always an adventure. Benz crips unite! #ultimagtr

    Dude, my hat is off to you!

    Most days, I can get away without using a cane, but it's obvious I should be when I walk. I'm kinda stubborn that way.

    It is coming up on cane season, though...the holiday shopping season. Keeps rug-rats at bay, usually, and wakes those up who nearly trip over it.

    Last night I parked in a spot I swear had a slope to it, but not enough to roll from a stop. Left leg out the door still works pretty well, thankfully.

    I'm glad bone and titanium fuse. I just hope I don't find the breaking point of the combo.

    I've learned to trust the low-fuel light in my Benz. When it comes on, I've got 2.8 gallons 'till walkin'. For you, under the right circumstances, that's nearly 100 miles! #ultimagtr

    @skaycog: I'd expect that Schuey's contract with Ferrari, or his insurance policy, my strongly discourage this.

    A car should be so much more than just going as fast as possible around a race-track. It's the experience. The Ultima is fast, no doubt, and probably a hoot to drive, but on balance, there are some hatchbacks that are better than this as a car, and that is why the Ultima is unlikely to be featured on Top Gear much, and they can keep dominating those Youtube comments.

    Still, congrats to Ultima, for yet another fast record. #ultimagtr

    @Mobius: Those hatchbacks are probably better "as cars" than the FXX as well, if you're talking about livability and ride comfort. The Ultima costs only 3-4 times as much as an average hatch, unlike the FXX.

    Oh yeah, and you can keep the Ultima in your own garage, and drive it whenever you want. That's a nice bonus. #ultimagtr

    @Mobius: So-if 'tested', they couldn't just mention all those potential drawbacks, just as they so gleefully do with virtually every car they drive?

    I hope Top Gear will review them-they've got a history of reviewing these little shed-built rockets, I don't see why they'd avoid this one. Ferraris and stuff like an Ultima are very different beasts, and it would be fun to have the boys contrast the two-some usability tests would be hilarious for both, I'm sure

    @Foxieness: Subtract 1000 lbs from a C6 and see how amazing 435 HP is. It's not rocket surgery, it's power to weight.

    720 hp in a 21xx lb. car is wicked fast any way you spit on it. 720 hp in a 31xx lb. car would also be the same...I doubt a layman could tell the difference at that power level over the screaming. #ultimagtr
