Adidas quickly responded by holding a press conference to remind the consumer how shit Ferrari's F1 efforts have been this year. Execs from both companies were later seen trading blows in a small Bavarian village.
Ferrari should have hired on Bourdais and saved themselves a massive splodge of wongo. And he's already demonstrated how much faster he is when he's driving a red car.
I imagine Ferrari have told Schumacher "don't worry about place...no, really, don't" and it's not like he hasn't been involved in Ferrari F1 this year anyway. He knows exactly what he's getting himself into. If he has an opportunity, he'll take it, but I bet that he's not out to prove anything.
The way this relates to the "inter race testing" ban Just goes to show you how regulations are making F1 suck. I mean, come on! Who wasn't a bit disappointed to see F1 absent from Goodwood? Its pretty certain the the FIA isn't going to let them break the rules and test the car, and now Schumi won't be used to the F60 and have it set up for him before racing, and will likely fail miserably as a result. Not that I care or anything.
In related news, Felippe Massa has been moved to a private room from intensive care, and will be flown to Brazil on monday to continue his recuperation. Reportedly his neither his vision nor mental capability have been permanently damaged, and he is able to speak and answer questions. It is possible that he may be able to race again before the end of the season.
It will be interesting to see is Schumi can still mix it up. Who knows, he might enjoy it and do quite well? If so, perhaps he might give some thought to buying the BMW team...
Lance will be back next year with his own team who are willing to back him. He won't have to deal with Contador.
Contador couldn't have done it without his team. Without Contador, Astana could've backed Lance for the win.
Contador is the better rider, for sure. No doubt. Lance has a stronger will and determination. Who will win next year? It's gonna be interesting for sure. Atleast there is some drama back in the tour. It's been gone for a while.
Can someone explain to me how someone like Schumacher who is still in excellent shape at 40 is "too old" for F1? I can't comprehend how an athletic man who works out every day could not handle a F1 car. Is it slower reflexes? Heart not as strong?

Not to mention Ferrari loses points for the brand whoring, and Puma loses points for the fanny-pack.

He'll fail because this season's car isn't very competitive... or at least, that's what Kimi and Felipe have led me to think.
