It's like being at a strip club while you are totally blitzed out of your mind. Then you spot her, that one stripper in the corner that could possible be your wife one day if only she would shave her upper lip and get rid on that huge mole on her back. Her thick-rimmed glasses and bright pink neon thong hover your way. All you can do is think about how bad you want to smell her talcum powder and vanilla perfume skin. Before you even know it she's on top of you begging for something, you're too drunk to know what. For a brief second you think that she might have just whispered, "I love you, let's run away to Mexico together..." Your mind starts racing all kinds of perplexities, as perplex as a drunk man can. (Can I ditch the wife and kids? How hot is Mexico this time of year? What would she look like with a shaven lip?) Next thing you remember is waking up face down in your buddies lawn. You smell of beer, piss, and that gorgeous stripper. Thoughts start rushing in about if you'll ever see her again. Then the headache kicks. You're sobering up. Soon this will all be a hazy memory.
This car is my dream stripper wife.

Let me elaborate. They force hot exhaust from the engine into the brake disks, causing rapid temperature rise, making it easier for the disk to glow when the brake is applied. Easier and brighter. That's how they make them look cooler.

Why these controls are on the rotor I don't know. Seems like it would be difficult to activate them from inside the car unless there is a remote panel for controlling them on the dash.

These things are so close to a go-kart in overall concept that you have to be a huge nerd to really appreciate it. I'd bet that the F40 is the one Ferrari that might have a hard time getting it's owners laid, but will have us losers drooling at it's disassembled drivetrain/monthly engine rebuild.
