This was at the Pacific Northwest Historics in Seattle over the weekend...
Chassis # 0666, the very first Ferrari Testarossa 250 TR. Built in 1957... best guesstimate is $20 mil... and it sounds as nice as it looks...

I thought the XJ rear end looked weird, but after video footage I think it looks perfect. BTW, don't know why, there's no audio.

There were earlier supercars, however. The Maserati 5000GT, Ferrari's 410 Superamerica, and Pegaso Z-102 were all just as fast and belonged to the '50s. All of them comfortable tourers.
The difference I guess is that the Lusso could handle the corners a lot better.

Why in the world would anyone watch that moron pretend to be The Man? You can see plenty of footage of the real deal.
Hollywood is creatively bankrupt and should be shut down with no bailout.
As for the car--I'll be back in a minute.

Come on, this parked next to his XKSS, 911, and all of those motorcycles? Possibly the end of the universe itself.

Well, if you changed the title of this post to "most beautiful automotive WIN ever made", I doubt you would get as much disagreement.

Y'all can have the F430's and the 599's. Keep em. I'll just take this one little brown car for my very own, thankyouverymuch.
Thanks, Pete, for the post and the pics. Lil' Jalops everywhere need to know about cars like this one. Modern supercars are nice and all but they'll never ever have the style, class, beauty and sophistication of a car like this. Could their possibly be a car that is more McQueen?

And to answer yesterday's gushy romantic QOTD: yes, but only for this car.
