    Owners may have to put on an extra gold chain to reclaim their manhood, but Ferrari will be fine. I haven't noticed too much discussion of their success with KERS in F1 so far, so it's a bit of a concern how well they'll manage with the road cars.

    Many people maintain that a gas-fired range is the best way to cook, but electric stoves have come a long way. I look forward to seeing how well Ferrari can cook with their new system, as they recently produced some excellent flambes with the olf gas models.

    The engineers at Ferrari are mystical, this should be nothing short of amazing. Or else they wouldn't do it.


    Also, since Ferrari is coupled with Alfa and Fiat, should they be able to lump CAFE numbers together?

    One of the kids I mentor has a next door neighbor with a son that hits on her quite frequently, and said neighbor just bought a Ferrari California. So now, all of a sudden, the guy's son is hitting on her even more, except this time with a Ferrari hat, jacket, and key ring (for his house key, and nothing more) jangling in his hand.

    I would rather deal with a thousand Prius owners.

    @Deartháir - Now with more SingoFinger™!: Good point. I guess we all need to recalibrate our smugometers since now we'll be combining Ferrari smug with Prius smug. Which brings up an interesting question: Can the two smugs coexist? Do they mix or would it be more of an emulsion? What will this do to life as we know it on this planet? What about the space-time continuum?


    I'm going to get a government grant to study this.

    Enzo is probably turning in his grave as we speak. This is fucked up. Ferrari shouldn't give a flying fuck about CO2. The should be focused on doing good in F1 and building better gasoline powered engines. No doubt they're doing this for the Hollywood crowd. Bunch of pussies.

    The only hybrid Ferrari should be using should be a drivetrain that is powered by gasoline, and a whole metric fuckload MORE gasoline!!


    Eco-friendly my ass. Stop posturing about it, it's not doing a goddamn thing for the environment, you could achieve the same levels of environmental protection by having a room full of people breathe slower for a half hour.

    @Deartháir - Now with more SingoFinger™!: I'm hoping that the two drivetrains are completely seperate most of the time, so you can turn on the electric drivetrain (with the engine charging the batteries) during EPA tests and the like, to get 30-40mpg, then when you actually want the rear wheels to, you know, make giant clouds of smoke, you simply turn that back on, and away you go at 7mpg!
