    It's not a crash if there was no physical contact with another object. This was a spinout.

    I am so confused now. So what is the story with Renault? Isn't the team banned from racing for 2 years? Or did they just decide to kick out the decision makers?

    @CBR600F4i: The 2 year ban was suspended, to be enforced if they commit a similar act in the future. Basically, they said they'd ban them if it happened again, but didn't enforce the ban outright because they didn't want Renault to leave the sport.

    Considering BMW F1's status for 2010, I'd say any seat is a promotion.

    At first I thought it was real, and cool, but then it occurred to me that cracking nuts requires a focused force to create a stress fracture (like, you can't crack one nut in your hand but you can do two). Somehow I don't think Alonso's jaw or shoulder are hard enough to do that.
