No, but seriously, I am fucking THRILLED that someone OTHER than fucking Lewis Hamilton is winning, and I am thrilled to not be hearing about that smug bastard anymore. I love the fact that he didn't even make it into Q3.
I love the fact that Hamilton is ranked 18th in the championship standings.
I would love nothing more than to have Button win the world championship and have that smug fuck Hamilton finish behind Force India.
Orosz, you cause me to be completely torn. You covered the Turkish Thing through Twitter, which, as we all know, is the root of all evil, and proof that the Interwebs are gradually turning into a giant pile of shit.
But at the same time, you do these beautiful crayon drawrings, so I can't decide whether I love you or hate you.
As such, I'm going to lump you in with Wes. Friends off, but with a bit of snuggling allowed from time to time.
I think Jenson's got "the fire", he's just not wearing it on his sleeve/being a dick about it. I don't know if he's ever staged any attempts at gamesmanship like (intentionally) causing someone else to tank in qualifying. He just seems like a Genuinely Nice Guy who focuses on himself and not messing with other drivers.
The first time I ever really was aware of Button was when he was on Top Gear, and I liked his attitude from the start.
This may have been one of the most boring races in a while. Vettel makes an error and Button wins. The most exciting duel was Nelsinho passing Hamilton for 13th (or was that 17th?).
I'm glad that jessica had the good sense not to rustle up any currywurst.
Button won the race on the first lap and showed that he has great skills and an amazing car. There was great racing in the rest of the field throughout the race, and almost no crashes.
Button may not have had to struggle too hard for this win, but I'm enjoying the season immensely. It's a Cinderella story and world-turned-upside down narrative: Button was washed up and Honda an utter disaster that was about to fold a few months ago, now they dominate. And who would have thought that back markers like Red Bull or Toyota, and Ferrari and McLaren are hopelessly behind?
I spent about 6 weeks in Cologne, Germany a few years ago for work. My entire time there I kept getting told by the site manager (a friend of mine and fellow American) that I need to try a döner kebap. Finally, on my last night there during a drunken tour of the city with the technicians and my friend, I saw a döner stand and said I had to try one. Heaven. A well-made döner kebap is heaven wrapped up in flat bread.
A few years later I was sent to Munich for 2 weeks. My first night there I went in search of a döner stand. Delicious.
Pretty ho hum race. I am still not convinced of Button's talent. Never liked him and think right now since he is benefitting from the defunct Ferrari brain trust running the operation. Ferrari have self immolated after pushing Michael out.
@monsterajr: As David Hobbs said: "The Ferrari brain trust is sitting on the wall down in the Brawn box".
I still wonder if John Todt (AKA Mel Brooks), left Ferrari because he say this coming, or if Luca De Montezuma's Revenge saw it coming, and fired him for letting it get to this point.
If you had to pick though, wouldn't you pick Rubens to be the man here? Doesn't he DESERVE it more than Button does?
@monsterajr: Rubens has the same car and the same braintrust and look at him. You can have every advantage in the world but you still have to drive the car.

I really think this, as part of the "40M" budget cap, is just a powerplay by Max to kill the FOTA.
Max is killing F1. As is Bernie (albeit for diff€r€nt r€ason$..)
