Considering GM is a fat, bloated waste with an apocalyptic thirst who still somehow manages to knock the odd long one out (ZR1), perhaps John Daly would be a more appropriate spokesman.

@boosted-lego-wagon: At least Daly is strangely appealing.

It wasn't that long ago that I remember the Tiger Woods commercials for the then new Buick Rendezvous. I can almost believe the Enclave, but it was truly a stretch for the rich relative of the Aztek, derived from a 2nd rate minivan.

Buick was only one of the brands that Tiger hawked. You see each logo firmly stitched on his shirt when he's on the course, along with every major PGA and LPGA pro. Maybe Michele Wee will pick up the Buick torch. Or, maybe not...

What they need is a media whore who aligns properly with Buick's target market. I'm thinking Joan Rivers, since the Kathy Griffin, Tori Spelling, and Paris Hilton D-list members skew to a younger demographic.

Celebrity endorsement is such an old, cliche marketing method. I think most consumers can figure it out by now, especially the upper-crust golfing crowd that Tiger has a bajillion dollars in the bank. Buick will not even make it on his shopping list for his next car.

Tiger can probably afford using a fully loaded Enclave as his golf cart.

Sadly, he already has the Enclave golf cart:

Can Tiger still use the company's private plane?

@Sandburgh: I hear he's picking up the backend of the lease from GM's returned corporate jet.

They can still keep the Golf theme going without Tiger.

How about an interior driving shot with one of those guys holding up a "Quiet, Please" signs? There, now just send me a check for a million dollars.

The endorsement never made sense to me anyway. I don't think too many people actually believed that Tiger drove a Buick. Now, if GM had created a one-off special for Tiger that he actually drove, it would be another thing entirely.

So GM can't even pay people to drive their cars.
