Dave Mirra thinks he's hot, jumping around all nimbly-bimbly from ramp to ramp on his little BMX bike. Joe the Loader Driver one-ups 'ole Dave by sticking an endo using 15-tons of bright yellow steel in the form of a Caterpillar. We're positive it's good for the health of the rental equipment. <![CDATA[Build it or Bag It? More on the Toyota Endo Rumor]]>

Considering a rumor that Toyota plans to produce its Endo concept (pictured), Edmunds Inside Line adds accelerant to the conflagration. The 10-foot-long four-seater was unveiled at the Frankfurt show last year, showcasing the deft spacial-engineering skills of Toyota's ED2 design studio of Europe. With DaimlerChrysler's Smart brand set for a major US push, it's no intuitive leap to imagine ToMoCo planning a competitor for the Fortwo. Of course, it already has such a car in play elsewhere in the world — the Aygo minicar. That means either the Endo will either replace the Aygo eventually, slot in above it as a premium-class small car, or be a distinctly American offering. Hmm

<![CDATA[Spy Photos: Is Toyota Building the Endo Concept?]]>

A bizarre spy shot of a highly (though cheaply) disguised Toyota minicar, located by The Hollywood Extra has fueled speculation that Toyota could be building a production version of the Endo minicar it unveiled in Frankfurt last year. According to rumor, Toyota's working up a supermini — powered by a 1.3-liter four — that would face off against DaimlerChrysler's Smart Fortwo in 2008. Comparing a shot of the mule with a press image of the Endo, it's hard to dismiss the similarities. Is it or isn't it? Only a few Japanese salarymen know for sure.

<![CDATA[Toyota to Introduce Endo Concept in Frankfurt]]>

Toyota will be bringing a new, urban-car concept, the Endo, to Frankfurt. Not likely named for its ability to do a bumper-over-roof flip, the spacious Endo was designed at ED2, Toyota s European design studio in the South of France, which was also responsible for the company's redesigned Yaris minicar (below), with which it will share the spotlight.
