    @montyz81: No, this is a fantastic and useful idea. The point of the interstates to to travel quickly between states. If you need to plan a route from Atlanta to Portland, OR this map would be much more useful than a conventional map would.

    Sure, a good GPS can route it for you and so can Google Maps. That doesn't make this map a waste of time. #infrastructure

    It would be interesting to see how they would get those highways to go straight through the Rocky Mountains.

    Imagine how much nicer it would be if they also flattened the entire highway system so that there were no big hills either! You could save tons of money on gas. #infrastructure

    @Skunky: He's holding a blue shell. Those only attack the car in first place. A Prius has never seen such a place.

    It could help us get rid of the guy in the speeding BMW or Lexus that doesn't know what a turn signal is but certainly knows how to use a cell phone because it's in the their ear as they cut you off in traffic. #infrastructure

    It would be even better if GPS systems gave long-distance directions in the style of jaded commuters. "A'right, so ya take the Green line 8 stops ta Chicagah, transfah ont'da Teal line t'wards New Orleans fah one stop, get on da Red line going ta San Fran, look fah Echo and head to Rivahdale on the Blue line. You can transfah at Salt Lake, but that place always smells like piss and there's all these fahkin' religious whackos passin' out pamphlets n' shit around deah. Then it's Blue line all da way down, ya can't miss it unless you're retahded. Now get outta heah! I gotta fly outta Logan soon." #infrastructure
