    This is the lease of their concerns.

    In all seriousness, I am considering leasing a car for the first time in my life. My car is approaching 9 years old, and I can't a car on the market that I really want to own for the next 9 or so years. I'm hoping if I lease something for a few years, there might be something on the market I'm willing to purchase by the end of my lease.

    Leasing Chryslers will be tricky, because so many drivers who lease a Sebring will feel an almost uncontrollable urge to smash it into a tree so they won't have to drive it anymore.

    12.5 miles on a charge? I hardly think this is the plug-in people are looking for. There must be some middle ground between this and the Volt

    @Velocitré: I think the sweet spot, as far as miles capable in full EV mode, should be the average commute distance (both ways). That way, most people would be able to get to work and back before they need it to either be recharged or change over to full hybrid mode where it uses gas. It's a step in the right direction though.
