Mock, but the existing 520D with EfficientDynamics might get 45+ MPG on the EPA cycle. Perhaps BMW USA is scared of an ultimate driving machine with only a 177 HP 4-cylinder.
Joy defines the future.
Another German campaign that uses Joy.
Now,what would 'strength through joy' sound like in German.
I'm sure their marketing people have looked at it......haven't they?
Personally, I don't care for the BMWVisionEfficientDynamicsTaillights... I have always liked the FordMustangSequentialTaillights.... Now available in LED.

Turbo Systems United (TSU), an affiliate company, started to sell TPL91-B, the largest turbocharger in the world for marine diesel engines, in October 2004.
The TPL91-B, developed by IHI and ABB in collaboration, is already marketed by ABB in Europe and South Korea. This large scale model is targeted for super container ships of 8000TEU class for which demand has increased in recent years. The airflow volume is 55 cubic meters per second. ABB has already received more than 60 orders for TPL91-B and the first TPL91-B will be mounted on the large container ship built by Hundai Heavy Industries and was shipped from ABB in June 2004. TSU has started to sell the TPL series in Japan and Taiwan and has already received more than 500 orders.
Big deal. I shaved my legs with a razor that had 5 blades in a row for better performance, plus an additional blade on top for tough to reach places. That's six blades on one razor.
Hey BMW - it's time to start thinking outside the box. Six turbos is the answer for your diesel.
If you're going to run that many wheels, why not just gang them all together on the same shaft and call the damn thing a turbine car and be done with it.
screw tri-turbo x5's I;m going to track down that turbo from the article picture and put it in my V70, I bet it'll fit in the hatch... now about the plumbing and heat management... hmmm...
@DЯ. BЯдΖǐL-ЯЄРΘЯΤЄЯ:I figure I rev it up in the driveway for about a half hour before driving anywhere, that'll get the turbo spinning nicely and the rotational momentum should keep it on boost for most any drive, excluding long iddleing in traffic.. judging by size of the turbo I should be able to depend on about 50psi any time, with a good spin jacking me up to near 100! Man, good thing I just did a head gasket!
